Blackwater Company is a long-standing Gilnean organisation built on loyalty, ambition and opportunity.Founded in 2014, it has spent over a decade evolving, with much of its history based in Stormwind running successful taverns and social hubs that attracted merchants, adventurers and more questionable clientele alike.Following the reclamation of Gilneas, Blackwater has re-established itself on Gilnean soil from a reclaimed inn, while still maintaining an active presence in Stormwind.Publicly, Blackwater operates a network of businesses, events and services across Azeroth. Beneath that, it remains a close-knit organisation with influence that extends beyond the marketplace.

Criminal RP
Behind the scenes, Blackwater Company plays a crucial role in the more unsavory parts of Gilneas. The criminal activities of Blackwater Company are well-organized, with key players like Yazmin Blackwood overseeing operations through her array of businesses. This information is all OOC. -DO NOT- Use it IC unless you know.
Here are some of the more illicit aspects of the company’s operations:
Smuggling and Contraband
Blackwater is heavily involved in smuggling, moving illegal goods, rare artifacts, or banned substances across borders, often using its transport routes and connections to evade detection.
Money Laundering: Legitimate businesses like the Emberstone Distillery, Blackwood's Brewery, and The Rose Inn serve as fronts for money laundering operations, cleaning up funds from illicit deals.
Underground Markets: The company operates and controls underground black markets where anything from weapons to magical artifacts can be bought and sold, often through intermediaries who keep the true identity of the buyers and sellers hidden.
Underground Event
The Company offers a range of underground events that cater to individuals with similar interests those who prefer to operate in the shadows and conduct business away from the eyes of the law. These events provide the perfect environment for like-minded people to connect, exchange information, form alliances, and pursue their personal agendas. The company operates and controls underground black markets where anything from weapons to magical artifacts can be bought and sold, often through intermediaries who keep the true identity of the buyers and sellers hidden.
Espionage and Blackmail
Blackwater has a network of spies and informants that gather intelligence, both legal and illicit, on individuals or businesses. They also use blackmail to manipulate certain powerful figures, keeping them under their thumb.
Extortion and Protection
One of Blackwater's more traditional operations is their control over various protection rackets. They offer "protection" to businesses, taverns, and even wealthy individuals in exchange for a regular payment. Failure to comply often results in violence, sabotage, or the sudden disappearance of key people. Blackwater has a vast network of enforcers and intimidators who ensure that the protection is more of a threat than a safety net, coercing people into paying up. These operations are particularly common in low-income areas or where businesses have little choice but to comply with Blackwater's demands.
Organ Trafficking and Body Harvesting
One of the more gruesome operations Blackwater runs is organ trafficking. This involves kidnapping individuals and harvesting their organs for sale on the black market. The victims are often chosen from the most vulnerable populations,homeless, travellers, or people who have been deemed expendable by society. Blackwater has a network of surgeons and medical professionals who facilitate these operations, ensuring that everything is done with efficiency and secrecy. The harvested organs are sold to the highest bidder, whether they are needed for medical treatments, black-market transplants, or other more sinister purposes.

• Realistic, character-driven outcomesCriminal RP is optional depending on your character.Do I have to take part in criminal storylines?No.Members are not required to engage in criminal RP. Many characters exist entirely in lawful, neutral or social roles such as traders, tavern staff, artisans or entertainers.Is it safe to opt out of darker plots?Yes.Participation in darker or criminal storylines is always based on consent. You can choose how involved your character is, and boundaries are always respected.Please understand that if your character becomes involved in misconduct, betrayal, or the leaking of sensitive information within the guild, there will be in-character consequences and potential removal from certain storylines or criminal RP access.Is there a ranking system in Blackwater?
Within criminal operations, guidance from Yazmin Blackwood and appointed officers should be respected. Meaning if you are told to do something. Your character does it without complaining. This is to maintain structure, consistency and narrative flow during RP.If characters act against established direction, or are found to be undermining or betraying Blackwater interests (such as acting as a “rat”), this may result in in-character consequences and removal from the guild.

• Willingness to communicate if issues ariseHow serious are the rules?The rules are enforced to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, but the guild is not overly rigid.They exist to protect roleplay quality, ensure fairness and prevent disruption.Is drama allowed in RP?Character conflict is encouraged and often forms part of storylines outside of the guild.However, OOC drama is not tolerated. All disagreements should remain out of character and be resolved through calm communication if needed. Yazmin will not stand for drama and if continued. You will be removed.
